Two years after a very fruitful third edition of this event, CNES, ESA, AIRBUS DEFENSE & SPACE, THALES ALENIA SPACE, SODERN and ISAE SUPAERO are pleased to invite you to the 4th edition of the workshop focused on radiation effects on optoelectronic detectors, which will be held in Toulouse on 16th November 2016 within the framework of the “Optics and Optoelectronics” and “Environment” Technical Expertise Center (CCT).
Optoelectronic detectors (image sensors, radiometric sensors,…) are key elements of space instruments, and their performances have direct impact on the overall mission capability. It is well known that, in Space, radiation could strongly degrade some major performances characteristics of these sensors and even prevent their operations. Current and future space programs are more and more demanding in terms of lifetime and of End-of-Life performances requirements, requesting deeper on-ground investigations. In addition, the evolution of CMOS technologies induces new questioning about the behaviour of many detectors in Space.
The aim of this workshop is to focus on those effects either during ground tests or in-flight data, on all types of detectors and technologies.
